Obituary	Ellis, Grady D. (Jack) Funeral services for Grady D. “Jack” Ellis, 91 will be at 2p.m. today in First United Methodist Church chapel with Dr. Max Browning, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Ellis died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, July 30, 2000, in Santa Fe House. He was born Feb. 20, 1909 in Brown County and moved to Hale County at an early age. He was very active in farming and ranching. He married Lorene Stuckey on Nov. 14, 1931 in Clovis, N.M. She died June 23, 1992. Surviving are two daughters, Wanda Grace Sylvester and Kay Todd, both of Plainview; a son Grady Don Ellis of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three sisters, Cleo Long of Olton, Gladys Hampton of Olton and Bonnie Chastain of Brownwood; five grandchildren, two step- grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to First United Methodist Church, 1001 W. Seventh, Plainview, TX 79072 or VistaCare Family Hospice, 4416 Olton Road, Plainview, TX 79072.
