Obituary	Kemp, Wayne, Mrs. (Lois Fay Clay) Lubbock-- Funeral services for Lois Fay Kemp, 65, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Ross Spencer and the Rev. Kevin O' Brien officiating. Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery by Sanders Funeral Home. Mrs. Kemp died Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004. She was born Nov. 21, 1938, in Pecos, the daughter of Luke and Nell Clay. She married Wayne Kemp on Jan. 7, 1956, in Abernathy. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Kenneth Kemp of Waco, Bobby Kemp of Lubbock and James Kemp of Abernathy; a sister, Pearl Miers of Lubbock; a brother, Jimmy Clay of Lubbock; and eight granddaughters. Her parents and two sisters, Patsy Shewmake and Sandra Clay, are deceased. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Plainview Daily Herald-- March 2, 2004
