Obituary | Martinez, Ninfa Salazar Ninfa Salazar Martinez, 78, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Martinez was born Aug. 28, 1938, to Enrique and Juanita Salazar in San Antonio. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by four daughters, Isabel Alvarez of Plainview, Maybelle Monreal and husband Richard of San Angelo, Emma Schoen and husband Wallace of Cedar Creek and Benita Reyes and husband Juan of Buda; two sons, Reynaldo Martinez and wife Cristi of Hartley and David Hidrogo of Austin; two brothers, Pete Salazar and wife Sally of Floydada and Blackie Salazar and wife Mary of San Marcos; one sister, Pauline Baca of Silver City, N.M.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
